The Dream
In a life so real
That I could be yours
In truth
A love so divine
Only to love
Only to be
Someone who saw me
For what I am
Not what I can give
Someone whose soul
Would meet mine
And answer my silence, in quiet
Would touch me
At all the right places
That doesn’t need untamed
Where understanding
Meets
The innards of corral
The flow of wild
Passionate, detached
Yet the dance so sacred
Why shouldn’t it be?
It does
At least in my mind
A moonlight beam
That kissed so fair
And sunbeams that played
On my lips
And in your eyes
The golden butterflies
Why can’t it be?
The loving look
That sees right thru heart
And when you talk
There would be nothing
That could really go wrong
Little hugs
A look that talks
All day long, all nights long
A craving so intense
A hunger so rave
For love so rare
A sky so blue
A wind that snare
The love that flares
And take you to heights
That don’t dizzy
Just leaves u in peace, content -fulfilled
In such few words
Such rapture lies
A world of dreams, butter and honey
Yet in some reality
It exists
Without an exit, am sure.
