Untouchable
Can you feel that. The untouchable in me.
When I move in your presence, you will feel a strange happiness surround you, like that of sunshine and bright yellow daffodils.
Maybe, I am silent, and soothing. You feel a strange connection, as if everything is going to be ok, from now on. You tell me, you are so nice. It makes me feel calm, but you are soothed more in those lullabies that lull from my lips.
But when you look at my sad eyes, you know, you can never touch me, the way I do you. You know, you can never walk in the shadows of my sober soul, like I do yours. You know, I am far away, even when I am inside you.
You know I am walking in and out of your mind, in ephemeral glimpses. And you wish to do the same. Somehow, you can’t just reach there, touch it.
Yes, I love you, there is no need to even ask that silently with a pleading eye, its like blood and veins, its like flesh and skin, its like heart and breath. Always together, always running into each other, always inexistent without the other.
You feel that always, don’t you…
It’s that way, with all around me. Some are pierced, so they laugh.
People say I am strange, different and unusual, sometimes they even laugh, but I really don’t care.
You know the truth, right, that I am true to myself. And to you. And …them...
So why should anything matter.
It makes me quirky, in all ways, sometimes it scares me, my own indifferent self.
But then each one of us is different right, essentially alone of soul and spirit. So that is solace.
But you love me, like you have loved no other. You have always felt together with me, as if you never existed alone. Passing through a million years one by one, each one an eternal infinity, that each moment is in itself an eternity. Then the eternity zeroes in us, and moments seem like forever.
Something in me, touches your heart and I guess, it must be my heart. I smile, heart, that is just a fist, which stops at one sign from the power.
Look, there are so many rivers meandering through the eternal blue mountains, do you see what I see.
Look, there are so many flowers that bloom unseen in the oasis of deserts, does the smell make you feel heady.
Look, there are so many beautiful fairy like fluffs that float around us, can you feel the lightness they spread around.
Look, love is like a giant dragon, that is weightless like a gossamer elf, that slides through the spines of tarantulas.
Are you scared, please don’t be.
The hope tree has just blossomed and the winter wizards are carrying the flowers in their crocheted moonlight sacks.
Those flowers give luck for days to many. Just be careful, not to gather too many of those white crimsons, they make you heady and overconfident…I am smiling at you…
You think, I am smiling at someone behind you, isn’t it? You can’t see my eyes focus, isn’t it?
You want to walk a mile with me, here take my hand, we can walk for centuries together, and after all we have all the time wholesaled to us in retail bits.
You think I am full of contradictions? Here you can pinch me real hard, I will cry, real tears on my pearl skin, because it does hurt me. Then will you agree that I am just as human?
You can’t believe I am real, isn’t it? You can’t believe that I am capable of that infinite capacity, isn’t it?
You half expect me to turn into a silver winged fairy and vanish into thin air, isn’t it? It’s just too good to ever be true, hmm? For beauty of this kind cannot be true, isn’t it?
I will make no excuses for myself. This is me. You can walk in anytime, fly away anytime. I cross my heart, I love you more. Even when you can’t. Even when that is no mistake of yours.
Here, envelop you in a protective shield. Do you know, they, that all who laugh, gave me those many guards. Take them, I don’t need so many.
Do you know, I see the tears of the willows and the smile of the meadows. Sometimes they, call me the flower god, they from the fertile lands of valleys and silts.
And I see you…
You still feel a strange lightness around you? Its ok. I will never make you cry.
I told you, I am untouchable. Untouchables can never hurt.
